Genre Research: War Powerpoint

At the start of this course, one of our assignments was to create a powerpoint to research the elements of a specific genre of film. The genre we were assigned were war movies. For this project, we explored elements such as camera angles, movements, shots, and mis en scene. For mis en scene, we went into specific costumes, lighting, actors, makeup, props, and setting. We also had to identify different codes and conventions we see throughout the genre of war. We also included the elements we enjoyed and the elements we disliked along with examples of the genre. Lastly, we placed a sound that would signify the war genre.
